A weather station for the livestock building.
The AG-06 weather station is designed for fully automatic control of the livestock building. It monitors the weather and automatically controls the ventilation of the whole building according to wind, precipitation and temperature. This helps to keep the microclimate stable without any manual operation.

Two versions to suit the customer's needs.

AG-06 weather station
The latest model with a clear touchscreen display, designed for automatic control of the whole livestock building. It regulates the whole building automatically according to wind, precipitation and temperature - with different settings for the windward and the leeward side. At the customer's request the weather station can also be connected to the lighting, the manure scrapers or the fans.

How the system controls the livestock building.
A connected ventilation system with the basic software works on the principle of opening and closing the walls in thirds. We can set manually how often and to what value the system should move, depending on the current weather conditions. If low-speed fans are connected, the temperature at which the fans start up is entered.
A winter operation function can also be set here. In winter operation a temperature is set that causes the curtains to close partly, by one third or two thirds, according to the value entered. The curtains remain partly closed for the whole time the temperature stays below this value, up to the frost function, while at the same time responding to the wind speed limits being exceeded and to the presence of precipitation.
The second level of winter operation is the frost function, which closes the curtains completely. This function protects the livestock building against severe frost, which, besides causing health problems for the animals, could also freeze the feed and the drinkers. The curtains remain closed for the whole time the temperature stays below this frost value.
Benefits of the AG-06 weather station.
- 1. Ridge vent controlAutomatic opening and closing of the ridge vents according to the current weather.
- 2. Side system controlAutomatic control of electrically operated side ventilation systems.
- 3. Adequate lightingEnsuring adequate lighting in livestock buildings. The weather station can be linked to artificial light sources so that you maintain an adequate level of combined lighting throughout the year.
- 4. Forced ventilationForced ventilation that prevents heat stress in cattle. Using temperature sensors, the system evaluates the current temperature in the livestock building and activates forced ventilation (fans) when required. Its advantage is that activation does not depend on human intervention.
- 5. No overheating in cubicle housingElimination of overheating of the cubicles along the longitudinal perimeter wall. In the summer months the system can set how far the type D roller curtain walls unroll, so that the line of cubicles along the perimeter walls of the building does not overheat.
- 6. Summer and winter operationBasic presets for summer and winter operation. Our weather station has preset basic modes for controlling the livestock building microclimate in the summer and winter months. These parameters can be optimised for the specifics of the farm, the location and so on.

AG-mini weather station
A weather station for automatic closing of leaf-type ridge vents when it rains. It removes the need for manual operation. It works automatically using a rain sensor.

What you ask most often.
What can the weather station control?
The AG-06 is designed for automatic control of the whole livestock building - both the ridge vents and the side ventilation systems. At the customer's request it can also be connected to the lighting, the manure scrapers or the fans.
Which sensors does the weather station use?
Wind speed sensors (one for each side of the livestock building), a heated rain sensor that also detects snow, and one to three temperature sensors depending on the size of the building.
Does it work automatically, or does it have to be operated?
It responds automatically to the values measured by the wind, rain and temperature sensors. The settings can be fine-tuned manually to suit the specific operation.
Does ventilation differ depending on the side of the livestock building?
Yes. The settings differ for the windward and leeward sides, so each side of the livestock building ventilates according to the current conditions.
Can the weather station be added to our existing ventilation?
Yes, we will assess a suitable connection according to the specific ventilation version and the electrical installation.
