Roller gates made to measure for livestock buildings and halls.
The roller curtain winds vertically upwards, so it does not get in the way at the sides or under the ceiling and allows fast opening. We manufacture electric roller gates in the EVR 1 to EVR 4 ranges according to the required dimensions and the type of drive. Insulated and manual versions are also available - hand-crank and chain-operated. Below you will find detailed information about each variant and a comparison between them.

Each version described.

EVR 1 electric roller gates
The basic electric version for standard entrance sizes. It suits places where the gates are operated frequently, for example feed passages. The electric drive is operated by remote control and by a push button. A back-up crank is available in the event of a power failure. The tarpaulin fabric winds onto a shaft mounted above the entrance and the structure is hot-dip galvanised. We install the gates from the inside or from the outside, depending on what the building allows.
| Operation | Electric drive with remote control, back-up crank |
|---|---|
| Drive | Electric - tubular motor |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 690 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 25 m² with a maximum width of 5.8 m |

EVR 2 roller gates - oversize, with a tubular motor
An oversize electric version with a tubular motor inside the winding shaft. Structurally it is based on EVR 1, but it handles larger entrance sizes.
| Operation | Electric drive with remote control, back-up crank |
|---|---|
| Drive | Electric - tubular motor, more powerful variant |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 900 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 30 m² with a maximum width of 5.8 m |

EVR 3 roller gates - oversize, with a side-mounted drive
An oversize electric version with a powerful side-mounted drive positioned next to the winding shaft. Its higher power and more robust structure make it suitable for large and heavy roller systems, so it can reliably close even oversize structural openings.
| Operation | Electric drive with remote control, manual release by pull chain |
|---|---|
| Drive | Electric - side-mounted drive |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 900 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 50 m² with a maximum width of 5 m |

EVR 4 roller gates - with a side-mounted drive and a central shaft
The largest version in the EVR range, with a powerful side-mounted drive and a sliding central shaft. It is designed to close extremely large structural openings. The side-mounted drive is dimensioned for roller curtains of large area and high weight, and structurally it is based on the proven design of the EVR 3 model.
| Operation | Electric drive with remote control, back-up crank |
|---|---|
| Drive | Electric - side-mounted drive |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance, sliding central shaft |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 690-900 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 60 m² with a maximum width of 15 m |

ŘVR - chain-operated roller gates
The gates are operated mechanically by a chain gearbox. For safety reasons, versions with an area over 16 m² are fitted as standard with a fall-arrest brake. As with the electric variants, the colour can be selected. We install the gates on the inside or the outside of the building.
| Operation | Mechanical, chain gearbox |
|---|---|
| Drive | No drive, chain gearbox only |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 690 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 20 m² with a maximum width of 5.8 m |
Infill to suit the operation.

Insulated gate version
Suitable where heat loss has to be limited and a stable temperature maintained. It is installed above all in milking parlours and collecting yards as an effective replacement for PVC strip curtains. It is also suitable for sheep barns and for any place where heat loss cannot be afforded.
We offer them as an infill option for the EVR 1 version and for chain-operated gates. We manufacture them in two colours only - grey or white.
| Operation | Electric drive or manual operation |
|---|---|
| Drive | Electric or chain gearbox |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 1050 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 20 m² with a maximum width of 5.8 m |

MVR - manual roller gates
A manual version for smaller openings. A simple structure with no electrical installation and no chain gearbox, operated by a hand crank. Suitable where the gates are operated only rarely.
| Operation | Mechanical, hand crank |
|---|---|
| Drive | No drive, hand crank only |
| Structure | Hot-dip galvanised steel, shaft mounted above the entrance |
| Infill | Tarpaulin fabric 690 g/m² |
| Max. size | Up to 8 m² with a maximum width of 3.5 m |
Which gates to choose.
What matters are the dimensions of the entrance, how often the gates are used and whether you need thermal insulation. For each version you can see the operation, the key dimension and what it is suitable for.

What you ask most often.
What are the structure and infill made of?
The structure is made of hot-dip galvanised steel and, depending on the version, the infill is 690 or 900 g/m² tarpaulin fabric. The insulated version uses 1050 g/m² tarpaulin fabric.
How are the gates operated?
By an electric drive with remote control (with a back-up crank in case of a power failure), or manually - by hand on the manual version, by a chain gearbox on the chain-operated version.
How large an entrance can you cover?
We manufacture EVR 1 up to 25 m² and a width of 5.8 m, EVR 2 up to 30 m² and a width of 5.8 m, EVR 3 up to 50 m² and a width of 5 m, and EVR 4 with a sliding central shaft up to 60 m² and a width of 15 m. The chain-operated and insulated versions go up to 20 m² and a width of 5.8 m, the manual version up to 8 m² and a width of 3.5 m.
Do insulated gates keep the heat in?
The insulated version helps to limit heat loss and maintain a stable temperature. We offer it as an infill option for EVR 1 and for chain-operated gates, in grey or white.
Can the gates be colour-matched?
Yes, you choose from the shades in the RAL colour chart, including an optional zinc sheet cover and various guide profiles.
How does installation work?
We manufacture the gates made to measure and our own team carries out the installation, from the inside or the outside depending on what the building allows. On handover we train the operators and we provide a 2-year warranty on the technology and the installation.
